Vintage 50s 60s Italian Micro Mosaic Floral Round Oval Pin Brooch

Two nice 1950s-1960s Italian micro mosaic broches.

Round brooch has quite a bit of detail, stamped Italy on the back, it's in good shape but sadly is missing a small piece (see images) it's about 1.5" x 1.5"

The oval brooch has two flowers on it, clean, no damage, pin in the back is slightly bent, about 1" long and just under an inch wide.

All items are measured in inches. Garments are lying flat, measured one way across the garment then doubled. For example, if a bust measurement for a garment measured 18 inches across, the bust size is 36 inches.

We provide basic measurements for the best fit but feel free to email us if you need additional measurements.

If a size tag exists on a garment, the listing will reflect that size. Some items may be marked, for example, a medium but if it feels to run large or small, it will be noted in the listing.

Numbered garment sizes prior to the 1980s are different from the sizing we use today:

A vintage garment marked a size 8 is about modern-day extra small or size 0-2. Followed by:

Vintage size 10--XS-Small or a size 2-4.
Vintage size 12--Small or a size 4.
Vintage size 14--Medium or a size 4-6.
Vintage size 16--Medium-Large or a size 6-8.
Vintage size 18--Large- Extra Large or a size 10-12.
Vintage sizes 20 and up are Extra Large or Plus size.

Granted this is just an estimate but if you see these numbers and wonder why is a size 14 is a medium, just remember that the sizing system for women's clothing had an update sometime in the mid-1980s.
